On October 11, JTBC News’s exclusive report revealed that former child actress, Kim Yoo Jung, will star in a new drama project, “100 Days of Lies,” for tvN. In response to the exciting casting news, Kim Yoo Jung’s agency representative from Awesome ENT stated,
“It is one of the projects she has been offered.”

Director Yoo In Sik is known for his hit Korean drama series on Netflix, “Extraordinary Attorney Woo,” which aired in 2022. For his upcoming project, he will collaborate with writer Ryu Bori, who penned the scripts for the successful dramas “Do You Like Brahms?” and “Trolley.”
The upcoming drama “100 Days of Lies” is a Korean historical drama set in old-time Seoul, Gyeongseong. The story follows the best pickpocket in Gyeongseong, who becomes a secret agent for the independence movement while working undercover at the Japanese Government-General of Korea.
If Kim Yoo Jung accepts the offer; it will mark her comeback project in historical dramas. She will play the female lead, portraying the best pickpocket in Gyeongseong. Additionally, the upcoming drama “100 Days of Lies” is set to air on tvN.

Following her success in the fantasy rom-com drama “My Demon” in 2023, Kim Yoo Jung made a special cameo in another Netflix K-series, “Chicken Nugget.” Her versatile acting skills and ability to bring depth to her characters have earned her a dedicated fan base and critical acclaim.

She donated 50 million won each to the Single-Person Elderly Support Center and the Green Umbrella Love Village. These donations will help provide food supplies for the elderly and children with disabilities. Furthermore, they will cover rehabilitation costs, medical expenses, and caregiving services for 18 unguarded, severely disabled children. Through her contributions, she hopes to improve the living conditions and health of both elderly individuals living alone and children with disabilities.
