On June 30, the Good Data Corporation released its latest list of the most buzzworthy Korean dramas and actors for the fourth week of June 2023. The company determines the weekly rankings by actively collecting data from news articles, blog posts, online communities, videos, and social media platforms, focusing on dramas that are either currently airing or set to air soon.
In the fourth week of June, JTBC’s rom-com King of the Land maintained its position as the most buzzworthy Korean drama, marking its second consecutive week at the top of the rankings.
Moreover, the rom-com drama not only secured the leading position on the list of the most buzzworthy Korean dramas, but its lead actors, YoonA and Lee Junho, also claimed the spotlight as the most buzzworthy Korean drama actors of the week. YoonA claimed the No. 1 spot, while Lee Junho secured the No. 2 position, after they swapped places from the previous rankings.
New Korean Dramas
SBS’s new horror-thriller series Revenant claimed the No. 2 spot on the drama list, with its stars Kim Tae Ri and Oh Jung Se debuting in the actor rankings at No. 3 and No. 8, respectively.
Meanwhile, ENA’s new thriller Lies Hidden in My Garden entered the drama list at No. 3, and its leading actresses, Lim Ji Yeon and Kim Tae Hee, also debuted in the actor rankings at No. 5 and No. 6, respectively.
