Highlights and Special Guests

Opening the festival is “No Other Choice”, directed by acclaimed Korean filmmaker Park Chan Wook. The film, which earned a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, follows Man-su (Lee Byung-hun), a paper industry expert whose life takes a drastic turn after he loses his job and faces the possibility of losing his home.

Adding local star power, Ringgo Agus Rahman joins as the Festival Ambassador for KIFF 2025. Known for his warm personality and comedic charm, Ringgo stars in two Indonesian titles featured in the festival — “Panggil Aku Ayah” and “1 Kakak 7 Ponakan”.

“I’m thrilled to be part of KIFF this year. It’s a great opportunity for film lovers to connect, learn, and share ideas through stories on the big screen.”

More Than Just a Film Festival

For Mark Nah, CEO of CGV Indonesia, the festival is more than a showcase of films — it’s a celebration of friendship and creativity.

“Each year, this festival becomes a space where we can appreciate and enjoy the beauty of two different cultures. Our collaboration with the Korea Cultural Center proves how entertainment can strengthen relationships and broaden perspectives.”
