Top 50 Korean Movie Star Brand Reputation Rankings in June 2023

The Korean Business Research Institute has analyzed a data set consisting of 217,846,066 records. The dataset was extracted from 50 South Korean movie stars, including actors and actresses, and collected between May 15 and June 15, 2023. Notably, this represents a significant increase of 76.25 percent compared to the 123,597,230 Korean movie star data collected in May.

Further, the institute used this data set to thoroughly analyze brand participation, media coverage, communication, and community indexes to determine the Korean movie star brand reputation rankings for June 2023.

Accordingly, Korean actors Ma Dong Seok, Lee Joon Hyuk, Son Suk Ku, Go Kyu Pil, and Kim Dong Wook secured the top 5 Korean movie stars in June 2023.

Top 5 Popular Korean Movie Stars

This month, actor Ma Dong Seok claimed the top spot on the list of the most popular South Korean actors. The Korean action star secured this position with an impressive brand value of 17,814,502. Remarkably, this represents a substantial increase of 283 percent compared to his brand value of 4,646,599 in May.

In the link analysis, popular terms related to Ma Dong Seok included “success,” “surpass,” and “brawny.” In the keyword analysis, the actor’s top-ranking keywords were identified as “The Roundup: No Way Out,” “Lee Joon Hyuk,” and “muscles.” Furthermore, Ma Dong Seok achieved a positivity-negativity score of 92.07 percent, indicating a highly positive sentiment.

Next, Lee Jun Hyuk soared to the second place with a brand value of 11,023,095, followed by actor Son Suk Ku in the third place with a brand value of 10,498,267. Although actor Son Suk Ku dropped to the third place, his brand value still experienced a significant increase of 48 percent.
