1. ‘Ring Ma Bell’ by TWO X
‘Ring Ma Bell,’ released on February 18, 2018, describes the story of women who pursue their romantic fantasies.
TWO X girl group debuted on August 16, 2012, under Stone Music Entertainment. However, TWO X members, Jiyou, Minjoo, Eun, Surin, and Eunyoung, went on separate ways on June 26, 2018, as the group disbanded.
2. ‘어쩌면 (May Be)’ by CHERRY ON TOP
The soft with compelling vocals track ‘May Be’ by CHERRY ON TOP is absolutely underrated. The track was released on December 31, 2018.
CHERRY ON TOP (체리온탑) debuted on August 9, 2018, consisting of U, Ian, Yoonseul, and Naye. Unfortunately, rumors said that they silently disbanded in 2019.
3. ‘넘넘 (Num Num)’ by DAYDREAM
One of the Kpop girl group’s underrated songs we might enjoy a lot is ‘Num Num’ by DAYDREAM. It was released on March 23, 2020, only four months before the group disbandment.
DAYDREAM (데이드림) was a girl group under Great Company. Their last line-up consisted of Sarang, Ara, and Maeum. Their three former members, Alim, Sorin, and Chaeha, are now under Liz Entertainment.
4. ‘GAIA’ by CRAXY
With the unusual and earworming music, ‘GAIA’ by CRAXY should be on the Kpop girl group’s underrated songs list. Released on October 7, 2021, ‘GAIA’ is drawing the birth and creation of the prelude to the final five chapters.
CRAXY (크랙시), formerly known as Wish Girls, is under S.A ITAINMENT. The group debuted on March 3, 2020, consisting of Wooah, Karin, Hyejin, Swan, and ChaeY.
5. ‘스르륵 (Gently)’ by DIA GIRLS
One of the Kpop girl group’s underrated songs is from DIA GIRLS. Released on November 12, 2015, ‘Gently’ is the group’s debut song. It has received positive comments on the release.

6. ‘비비디바비디부 (Bibidi Bobidi Boo)’ by Honey Popcorn
‘Bibidi Bobidi Boo’ is a debut single of Honey Popcorn and was released on March 21, 2018.
Honey Popcorn (허니팝콘) was actually a Japanese girl group based in South Korea under Kyun Create. There have been several changes in the group since their debut on March 21, 2018. They initially debuted as a three-members group, but one of the girls, Miko Matsuda ‘graduated’ on December 22, 2018. Six months after that, they added three new members to the group. Then, Nako left the group in December 2020, and she announced the group disbandment in January 2021. However, later on, she corrected her statement that, according to Kyun Create, the group hasn’t disbanded
7. ‘Black Tinkerbell’ by ChoColat
‘Black Tinkerbell’ by ChoColat was released on June 11, 2013
ChoColat (쇼콜라) was initially formed by PARAMOUNT MUSIC in August 2011. The group consisted of 4 members: Min Soa, Juliane, Tia, and Melanie. However, some fans believe that the group was mismanaged, so they became one of the 2nd generation underrated Kpop girl groups. In an interview, Melanie confirmed that the members’ contracts ended in February 2017, and ChoColat had disbanded.
8. ‘Dr. Feel Good’ by RANIA
‘Dr. Feel Good’ is indeed one of the Kpop girl group’s underrated songs. It was initially produced for Lady Gaga but after listening to their live singing, the co-producer, Teddy Riley, believed that the song fitted RANIA’s Style more than Lady Gaga’s. The song was released on April 7, 2011.
RANIA (라니아) debuted under DR Music on April 6, 2011, consisting of 4 members: Hyeme, Seunghyun, Youngheun, and Larissa. The name is shortened from ‘Regeneration of Idol Asia,’ which delivers hope that the girl group will give something new to the entertainment industry in Asia. But unfortunately, the group disbanded after planning to rebrand as B.S. (Black Swan).
9. ‘블랙스완 (Black Swan)’ by Rainbow
The catchy intro and chorus of ‘Black Swan’ by Rainbow deserve more love from Kpop fans. Rainbow re-image their group from cutesy concept to ‘classy sexy’ with this song. Listening to the lyric, ‘Black Swan’ has healing power for those tired from working to achieve their dreams. It was released on May 23, 2015.
Rainbow (블랙스완) debuted on November 14, 2009, under DSP Media. They had survived for seven years in the Kpop industry before DSP Media announced the group disbandment on November 12, 2016. However, on November 14, 2019, Jaekyung, Woori, Seungah, Noeul, Yoonhye, Jisook, and Hyunyoung re-united and released an MV to celebrate their 10th anniversary.
10.’ 사랑은 갑자기 (Love is a Sudden)’ by MIXX
One of the Kpop girl group’s underrated songs is ‘Love is a Sudden’ with its cutesy colorful MV. Once you listen to the song, it will be stuck in your mind.
MIXX (믹스) is the abbreviation of ‘Motivation, Impression, XX Chromosomes’ and was a girl group under Chiko Entertainment. The group debuted as a 5-piece group consisting of Hanna, Heeyu, Mia, Arie, and Liyah on May 3, 2016. However, on March 16, 2017, the group announced their disbandment.
