On July 5, Korean news outlet Sports Chosun reported that the Kpop girl group Lapillus has been named ambassadors for the 26th Boryeong Mud Festival in 2023. The ceremony took place at Boryeong City Hall on June 29, 2023. Following the appointment ceremony, the members of Lapillus will actively promote this exciting festival.
Lapillus members expressed gratitude for their role as ambassadors of the upcoming Boryeong Mud Festival and shared their commitment to promoting it.
“It’s an honor to serve as the ambassadors for the Boryeong Mud Festival. As ambassadors, we will do our best to promote this exciting event.”

26th Boryeong Mud Festival in 2023
The International Festivals & Event Association Asia has selected the annual Boryeong Mud Festival as one of Asia’s top three major festivals.
The 26th Boryeong Mud Festival in 2023 will run from July 21 to August 6, 2023. It will take place at Daecheon Beach in Boryeong-si, Chungcheongnam-do. This festival has now developed into a global event, attracting visitors from around the world and highlighting the exceptional qualities of Boryeong mud.
Daecheon Beach is renowned for being the sole sandy beach in the eastern region that features the unique characteristic of shell powder (shell) sand. Furthermore, Daecheon Beach will become the ultimate mud playground during the festival. There will be a diverse range of mud-related programs and thrilling activities.
Visitors can indulge in mud self-massage, engross in body painting with colored mud, and even pamper their pets in designated mud experience zones. Surely, there will be plenty of fun activities for everyone to enjoy.
In addition, beach parties and spectacular K-pop concerts featuring exciting artists line up will add to the summer vibe. Kpop artists that have been announced to perform are Secret Number, H1-KEY, DRIPPIN, and many more. Thus, this mud festival will surely be an unforgettable experience for all festival-goers.

LAPILLUS Comeback 2023
Kpop girl group Lapillus debuted with six members on June 20, 2022. The six members are from diverse national and cultural backgrounds. They are Chanty (a Filipino Argentinian), Shana (from Japan), Yue (a Chinese American), and three South Koreans named Bessie, Seowon, and Haeun.
