LE SSERAFIM has just released a majestic video trailer for their UNFORGIVEN new comeback album titled BURN THE BRIDGE. Check out the following complete discussion of how LE SSERAFIM has shown a new side with encouragement to embrace the darkness in the new comeback album trailer.
Source Music Releases LE SSERAFIM UNFORGIVEN Comeback Album Trailer, BURN THE BRIDGE

And this time, they have decided to embrace their darkness and break the barrier.
On April 10 at midnight KST, Source Music released a majestic video trailer for LE SSERAFIM UNFORGIVEN new comeback album, with the title BURN THE BRIDGE. Just like what they did with the previous album, ANTIFRAGILE, this video trailer gave fans the basic idea of what their new album is all about.
And from this BURN THE BRIDGE trailer, it seems that LE SSERAFIM new comeback album UNFORGIVEN will be particularly exceptional.

During their every release, LE SSERAFIM always hints of their next album project. The HYBE angels ended their first FEARLESS album with: “Do you think I’m fragile?” and released ANTIFRAGILE for their next project.
Then, at the end of the ANTIFRAGILE release, LE SSERAFIM once again teased fans with a hint of their next comeback album with, “Do you want to be forgiven?”, which leads to the upcoming comeback album, UNFORGIVEN.
Embrace Your Pain and Darkness with LE SSERAFIM and BURN THE BRIDGE Trailer
As one of the 4th generation Kpop sensations, LE SSERAFIM has been the perfect embodiment of youth’s bravery and resilience. Since its first debut, the HYBE princesses have spread positive influence through their exemplary high-class luxurious image.
Through their previous releases, LE SSERAFIM invited fans to break out from the new generation stereotypes and hone themselves to be stronger and braver with FEARLESS and ANTIFRAGILE albums.
Today, LE SSERAFIM journey continues with a fierce battle against their pain and darkness in the upcoming comeback album, UNFORGIVEN.
Once the BURN THE BRIDGE trailer starts, images of what seems to be blood flowing across the pure white floor. LE SSERAFIM’s eldest member Sakura opened the teaser, appearing with a wounded face, pleading with the Japanese prologue.
“The darkness drives me into a corner and forces me to choose.
LE SSERAFIM Sakura.
Either to give up, or give in…”
BURN THE BRIDGE video trailer then continues with heartbreaking monologues as LE SSERAFIM members face their despair and sadness. And as usual, they performed the monologue brilliantly in three languages: English, Korean, and Japanese.
“…that I can go forward, but only within the limit.
LE SSERAFIM.
My answer? ‘I wish for what is forbidden to me.’
A closed door, a door locked shut, another door slightly ajar.
I open them all.
Because the path I meant to follow is back there.”
Finally, the 5 HYBE angels came out of their own misery. They invite the viewers to break out from the darkness together and never again look back. Instead, LE SSERAFIM angels wish them to use their dark past as means to build a brighter future.
Remnants of Violence Victims?
What’s most interesting about the newest trailer, BURN THE BRIDGE, is the presence and signs of violence victims. All 5 members of LE SSERAFIM appeared in the video, sporting cuts and bruises on their faces. With pure white outfits and minus battle gears, it was as if they had just survived a fierce battle and violence.
As we all know, bullying and violence issues have been under the primary spotlight lately. And that is especially after The Glory Kdrama release.
However, violence and bullying issues were a special case to LE SSERAFIM. That’s because they previously had to lose one of their members, Kim Garam, due to a school violence case that proved to be misdirected.
What’s most fascinating is how LE SSERAFIM tributed these violence victims in BURN THE BRIDGE trailer for UNFORGIVEN album. They tried to connect with the victims and empathize with their pain. But at the same time, LE SSERAFIM provided solace and encouragement.
Through messages in BURN THE BRIDGE trailer for UNFORGIVEN album, LE SSERAFIM invited those with dark pasts to embrace and use them as a means to strive for what they have desperately wanted.
“Let’s go beyond together! Come to that faraway land with me.
LE SSERAFIM.
I’m never going back.
We’ll burn it all and it will light out way.
We don’t have to be forgiven.
We are unforgiven.”
Most importantly, LE SSERAFIM also addressed how some violence victims and people with dark pasts would blame themselves. And instead of desperately asking for forgiveness, LE SSERAFIM took another approach and embraced the mistakes. We are unforgiven, so we will pay ourselves back by striving for a better future.
