In this life, you must truly be prepared for all the unexpected surprises that fate brings to you. Some may be pleasant, but others would just be as shocking as what happened to “Moving” actor Lee Jung Ha. After gaining such massive popularity as one of the main characters in the Kang Full universe, Lee Jung Ha is now facing controversy as the cast of “The Auditors” Kdrama. So, what happened, and what’s the issue about? Join us in a complete discussion below.
“Moving” Actor Lee Jung Ha Makes Shocking Transformation as Cast of “The Auditors” Kdrama
Just last year, the global Kdrama community was completely mesmerized by “Moving,” especially with the transformation of a young actor, Lee Jung Ha. His dedication to his role, Kim Bong Seok, was exceptional in successfully gaining 30kg (approximately 66 lbs) to perfectly portray the rising Korean superhero.
Furthermore, what makes it even more shocking is that after he completed filming “Moving,” actor Lee Jung Ha managed to lose all the weight he had previously gained as Kim Bong Seok and returned to his usual appearance.
With this newly found fame, Lee Jung Ha entered a new project with senior actors Shin Ha Kyun and Jin Goo in tvN’s latest office drama, “The Auditors.”
Unfortunately, his appearance as “The Auditors” Kdrama cast recently brought Lee Jung Ha to an unexpected controversy. Korean media outlet poured this young actor nothing but criticism in the latest report with the approaching finale of the new Korean drama.
Actor Lee Jung Ha Poor Performance as “The Auditors” Kdrama Cast
On July 29, Korean media outlet TenAsia posted a lengthy criticism against Lee Jung Ha and his performance as the “The Auditors” Kdrama cast. Unlike his previous impressive acting in “Moving,” young actor Lee Jung Ha showcased poor quality acting as Goo Han Soo in this new tvN project.
Furthermore, TenAsia elaborated that Lee Jung Ha had shown awkward and exaggerated facial expressions from episodes 1 to 8.
Therefore, since his seniors Shin Ha Kyun and Jin Goo, along with the supporting actors, managed to showcase impeccable performance that’s on par with the Kdrama’s solid script, Lee Jung Ha’s poor performance only became a sore flaw to what was supposed to be a perfectly presented project.
“Veteran actors like Shin Ha Kyun and Jin Goo, along with numerous excellent supporting actors and a solid script, contributed to the rising viewership of ‘The Auditors.’
This made the controversy over Lee Jung Ha’s acting even more painful, as it seemed to be the only blemish on an otherwise perfect result.”

Moreover, reports also highlighted that the senior-junior chemistry between Shin Ha Kyun and Lee Jung Ha was the most crucial part of the Kdrama. However, it seems that Shin Ha Kyun has been carrying the whole story alone with his exceptional sparks with Jin Goo, Jung Moon Sung, and among the investigation team members.
Awkward Facial Expressions and Unclear Enunciation, Unlike in “Moving”
What’s most concerning was the allegation that Lee Jung Ha’s presence as “The Auditors” cast was only a disruption. His facial expressions were awkward, with words unclear coming out of his mouth. And this was allegedly far worse than the performance actor Lee Jung Ha showed in “Moving.”
“Lee Jung Ha continues to disrupt the show’s immersion with his awkward facial expressions and unclear enunciation.
Even in scenes where he needs to portray turbulent emotions such as confusion, anger, and sadness, he consistently shows exaggerated expressions.”

Finally, as the story progressed until the latest episodes, Lee Jung Ha reportedly did not show any improvement in his acting. This then resulted in the gradually diminishing presence of Lee Jung Ha as one of the cast members of “The Auditors” Kdrama.
And yet, we still have 2 weeks before the actual finale of “The Auditors.” Do you think Lee Jung Ha will be able to showcase a better performance approaching the end of the series? Or will this performance only tarnish his previously stunning reputation in “Moving”?
