As reported by Sports Chosun on Tuesday, the 31-year-old actress Lee SeYoung has confirmed her comeback drama project, The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract. Lee SeYoung is a South Korean actress who started her career as a child actress. She has also been part of popular dramas like Jewel in the Palace, Hit the Top, A Korean Odyssey, The Crowned Clown, The Red Sleeve, and more.
After her last performances in the historical drama The Red Sleeve in 2021 and The Law Café in 2022, the actress will return to the small screen with a time-traveled historical drama this year. The upcoming romantic historical drama storyline is an adaptation of a popular webtoon by Angelique and illustrated by Dotda. This webtoon was originally adapted from Kim NeoUl’s web novel, The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract.

The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract Korean Drama: First Project of Lee Se Young, Bae In Hyuk, and Yeon Seon Ho Together in Romance Drama
Three stars from popular historical dramas, The Red Sleeve and Under the Queen’s Umbrella, Yo Seon Ho, Lee Se Young and Bae In Hyuk will work together in the upcoming historical drama The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract.
In Lee Se Young’s new drama, the actress will play the female lead role of Park Yeon Woo, a girl from the Joseon era. Meanwhile, in Bae In Hyuk’s new drama with Lee Se Young, he will play the male lead role of Kang Tae Ha. In addition, rookie actor Yoo Seon Ho also confirmed to join the drama as the step-brother of Kang Tae Ha, Kang Tae Min.
Park Yeon Woo is a girl with a sense of virtuous values who believes that one day she will meet the love of her life. Her family, however, has arranged for her to marry Tae Ha, a handsome stranger she has never met before.
On the first night of their wedding, her husband suddenly passed away in front of her. And the next day a mysterious man kidnapped her and threw her body into a well. She woke up after a man who resembled her husband saved her from drowning. But he is not her husband, and it is not in the Joseon era. It’s in 2023, 200 years later after the Joseon era.
Amid her desperation to return to Joseon, Park Yeon Woo ended up marrying Kang Tae Ha under a contract. However, everything started to change when she started to have feelings for Kang Tae Ha from “modern times”.
