The former members of “Youn’s Kitchen” and “Youn’s Stay,” actors Lee Seo Jin, Park Seo Joon, Jung Yu Mi, and Choi Woo Shik will reunite in a new reality show by PD Na Young Suk, “Seo Jin’s.”

Earlier on November 9, according to JTBC report, actor Lee Seo Jin confirmed he would join PD Na’s new reality show “Seo Jin’s.”
“Seojin’s” is the new entertainment show which is the spin-off series of the famous reality show “Youn’s Kitchen.” The show features several Korean stars running a restaurant that serves Korean cuisine abroad.
In the first and second seasons of “Youn’s Kitchen,” veteran actress Youn Yuh Jung led the restaurant, assisted by Lee Seo Jin as the director, Jung Yu Mi as the cook, Shin Go (season 1) as the waiter, and Park Seo Joon (season 2) as the cook and waiter.
The Korean dishes served at that time included kimchi, fried rice, bibimbap, bulgogi, dumplings, fried chicken, japchae, ramyeon, and more.
Unfortunately, the Oscar-winning actress cannot join the new variety show due to filming for the series “Pachinko” season 2.
So, in the upcoming reality show, Lee Seo Jin will lead the new restaurant, “Seo Jin’s.” And, in difference with the previous series, the new series will introduce Korean street foods, which are lighter than previous ones.
Maybe in the upcoming show, they will have Korean street foods such as tteokbokki, gimarri, bungeoppang, hotteok, hobbang, or various types of twigim on the menu.
A Fusion of “Youn’s Kitchen” and “Youn’s Stay”
Expectations are rising not only for Lee Seo Jin, who will be the center, but also for the members who will work alongside Lee Seo Jin.
Earlier, Jung YuMi, Park Seo Joon, and Choi WooShik, who previously appeared on “Youn’s Kitchen” and “Youn’s Stay,” were in discussion to appear in the new reality show.
On November 30, OSEN reported that the actors confirmed to join PD Na’s new entertainment program, “Seo Jin’s,” and run the new restaurant with Lee Seo Jin.
In addition, each of them will be in charge of the different fields like before. Like, Jung Yu Mi will be in charge of the kitchen. Meanwhile, Park Seo Joon will manage the hall. And Choi Woo Shik will work as an intern. With the formation, it is also expected that the reality show “Seo Jin’s” will become more energetic.
Filming Location
The filming location is said to be Mexico, which is considered as the top candidate. However, tvN stated, “We ask for your understanding that we cannot disclose the location in advance for safe and smooth progress.”
The reunion of PD Na Young Suk, Lee Seo Jin, Park Seo Joon, Jung Yu Mi, and Choi Woo Shik has raised the expectations of Korean reality show fans for how the stars will manage “Seo Jin’s.”
“Seo Jin’s” is scheduled to air in the first half of 2023.
