On February 28, Blockberry Creative released an official statement regarding three LOONA members testing positive for COVID-19. The members of LOONA who have tested for COVID-19 are HaSeul, YeoJin, and ViVi on February 26. Meanwhile, other group members are still waiting for their PCR test results.

Accordingly, Blockberry Creative decided that LOONA will not participate in the first preliminary performances for “Queendom 2” filming today.

“Hello, this is Blockberry Creative. We inform you that LOONA’s HaSeul, YeoJin, and Vivi have tested positive for COVID-19.
LOONA members took a PCR test after several members tested positive through self-test kits on February 25. On February 26, HaSeul, YeoJin, and Vivi tested positive for COVID-19.
YeoJin has been vaccinated three times, and HaSeul and Vivi have completed the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. The three members have now suspended all their activities and have taken action under the health authority guidelines.
On February 25, the other members tested negative through PCR test; however, they continued to test using self-test kits, considering the period of virus inactivity. Several members have tested positive on the 27th with self-test kits, so they have now undergone a PCR test. We will follow up with the test results.
As a result, LOONA will be absent from the first preliminary round of Mnet’s ‘Queendom 2’, which will take place on February 28.

LOONA is one of the “Queendom 2” participants this year. They will compete with other girl groups like Brave Girls, Viviz, WJSN, Kep1er, and Hyolyn. Girls’ Generation Taeyeon will host the “Queendom Season 2” that will air on March 31, 2022, at 9:20 p.m. KST, every Thursday for ten weeks.
