U.S. Variety selected Min Hee Jin as ‘Globally Influential Woman’
Every year, Variety selects the most influential women in global entertainment to commemorate International Women’s Day. And this year, the U.S. Variety selected Min Hee Jin, the CBO of HYBE and CEO of ADOR label, as the ‘Globally Influential Woman.’

“As a K-pop branding innovator, she redefined the concept, opening a new era of girl groups starting with Girls’ Generation in the past, and suggesting innovative artist branding through SHINee and EXO. In 2022, ‘ADOR’ is preparing to launch a new girl group once again.”

Min Hee Jin unquestionably contributed as a pioneer who has re-established the artist brand value in the Kpop music industry. After joining HYBE as the brand general manager (CBO) in 2019, Min Hee Jin completed the new CI development and branding of the new office space. Therefore, HYBE won the ‘2021 Red Dot Design Awards’ in the Brand & Communication category.
In March 2021, HYBE released a ‘Brand Identity Film’ called ‘HYBE: ABOVE AND BEYOND,’ where Min Hee Jin worked as the chief creative director.

HYBE also trusted Min Hee Jin to lead ADOR, a new label under HYBE. ADOR is set to debut their first KPop girl group this year.
Regarding the selection of ‘Globally Influential Woman’ by U.S Variety and the new girl group, Min Hee Jin said, “Thank you for the news of the selection. In the third quarter of this year, we will introduce a differentiated girl group that can present new tastes and topics to fans around the world.”

Other artists in the Variety ‘Women That Have Made an Impact in Global Entertainment’ List
In addition to Min Hee Jin, Variety also introduced actress Yoon Yeo Jeong and female actors of ‘Squid Game’ as women to be noticed in the entertainment industry this year. The list also includes Kate Winslet, Penelope Cruz, and Olivia Colman.
Not only those influential women, but Variety also has Kelly Clarkson, Reese Witherspoon, and Meghan Markle were also on the list.
