At last, we will soon be able to see the end of the complicated drama controversy between HYBE, former ADOR CEO Min Heejin, and NewJeans members. Yes, she may have lost her CEO position, but soon enough, Min Heejin will reportedly return to ADOR. So, does it mean that HYBE is finally giving up? And is Min Heejin comeback to ADOR enough for the NewJeans members even when she’s no longer the CEO of the company? Let’s discuss this further in the following report.
Min Heejin Successful Comeback to ADOR: HYBE Drama Controversy Ending Soon
Former CEO and executive producer of NewJeans, Min Heejin, is reportedly making a successful comeback to ADOR.
On October 17, Korean media outlet Kyunghyang reported that ADOR would welcome Min Heejin back to the company.
According to the report, multiple industry insiders revealed that ADOR had held an extraordinary shareholders’ meeting on the same day, October 17. This shareholders’ meeting discussed a special agenda, resulting in the reappointment of Min Heejin back as one of the honorary executives of ADOR.
Unfortunately, since the CEO position now belongs to the HYBE-appointed personnel, Kim Ju Young, it is impossible for Min Heejin to reclaim her seat. Therefore, the NewJeans producer will be making a comeback to ADOR as an internal director instead.
The Power of NewJeans – Is It Enough for the Members?
Since the official dismissal of Min Heejin from her ADOR CEO position due to the massive drama controversy with HYBE, members of NewJeans have been actively pleading and demanding the return of their producer.
This drama controversy reached its peak after NewJeans members appeared in a YouTube broadcast with a strong ultimatum for HYBE to reappoint Min Heejin as ADOR CEO on September 11.
Not only that, but NewJeans members also emphasized how their working situations have completely changed since Min Heejin’s departure. To make matters worse, it even escalated into workplace bullying, which then NewJeans Hanni elaborated further during her speech at the National Assembly trial.
Today, all the efforts have born results, and HYBE seems to be giving up all the internal drama and controversy within ADOR.
Thanks to NewJeans members and their global influence, Min Heejin will soon make a successful comeback to ADOR as an internal director starting on November 2. This time, her position will reportedly last for three years.
Still, is it enough for NewJeans?
As an internal director, Min Heejin will be able to monitor the entire management of ADOR. However, all the decisions will still be made by Kim Ju Young, the HYBE-appointed CEO of the company.
Hence, will Min Heejin eventually be able to execute all the 7-year blueprint she had planned for NewJeans members? After all, seeing how massive the response was during the unreleased song reveal, NewJeans upcoming concepts will certainly be extraordinary.
But what do you think? Will Min Heejin’s return as ADOR’s internal director be enough for NewJeans members? Or does she need to reclaim her CEO position to make NewJeans’ plans happen? Please share your thoughts in the comments.
