Han Ye Ri to Headline a New Thriller Korean Drama, “The Intimate Traitor”
Star News reported on February 22 that actress Han Ye Ri will return to television in the MBC drama “The Intimate Traitor.” Han Ye Ri will collaborate with “Dr. Romantic” actor Han Suk Kyu and “Love Attack” actress Chae Won Bin in this upcoming new drama.

Planned by Namgung Sung Woo, directed by Song Yeon Hwa, and written by Han Ah Young, “The Intimate Traitor” is a family psychological thriller. It delves into the challenges faced by top Korean profiler Jang Tae Soo, portrayed by Han Suk Kyu, as he uncovers his daughter’s connection to a murder case.
Cast and Characters
In the upcoming drama, Han Suk Kyu portrays Jang Tae Soo, a renowned Korean profiler. Meanwhile, Han YeRi stars as Seo Yeon, a dedicated police officer who greatly admires Jang Tae Soo. Chae Won Bin will also play the role of Jang Tae Soo’s daughter.
Actress Han Ye Ri’s Dramas and Movie
Han YeRi made her film debut in “Giraffe & Africa” in 2009. Meanwhile, she made her drama debut in “Road No. 1 “in 2010. Transitioning into the commercial film sphere in 2012 with “As One.” She ventured into Hollywood in 2020, starring in the well-received Korean-language American drama “Minari.”
For her outstanding performance in “Minari,” the actress received four nominations from four different awards shows. Those were the Indiana Film Journalists Association (2020), Independent Spirit Awards (2021), New York Film Critics Online (2021), and Screen Actors Guild Awards (2021).
The actress has been featured in many Korean movies and dramas since her debut. Some of them were “Age of Youth,” “The Nokdu Flower,” “My Unfamiliar Family,” “Hometown,” and “One Day Off.”
