MONSTA X has just released their ninth mini-album, ‘One of a Kind,’ that brings out different music genres and concepts. Their title track ‘Gambler’ is indeed one of a kind music MONSTA X has made.

Trying out different genres and concepts for each comeback, MONSTA X members admit its pressure. During the interview and pictorial for Cosmopolitan magazine, I.M stated, “I’d be lying if I said that there isn’t any pressure at all. But I’m used to it now. And that kind of pressure and stress also helps you grow and improve.”
“I’ve gone through a lot of different concepts and songs up until now, and I’ve tried things that didn’t suit me and things that weren’t my color. But that doesn’t mean those things weren’t me, so I don’t really mind.”

‘One of a Kind’ involves MONSTA X members in the lyrics writing
‘Gambler,’ produced by Joohoney, Ye-Yo! (Yeyosound), Laser, and Jooyoung, undoubtedly become a masterpiece this year. I.M and Hwang Yoo Bin also take part in writing the lyrics.
Moreover, the track ‘Rotate’ is self-composed by I.M. Meanwhile, Hyungwon writes the ‘BEBE’ lyrics, a song dedicated for Monbebe (MONSTA X fans).

“The members really participated a lot in the creation of this album. I hope that there will be many articles calling it (One of A Kind) a ‘high-quality album.'”
