Moon Ga Young Joins Lee Jong Suk in Talks to Headline New Korean Legal Drama
On October 4, JTBC exclusively revealed that, according to an industry insider, actress Moon Ga Young will star in the new Korean drama “Seocho-dong” (literal title).
In response to the exciting casting news, PEAK J Entertainment, the actress’s agency, stated that “the actress is positively considering [the offer].”
Moon Ga Young’s Possible Role in New Drama
The upcoming drama “Seocho-dong” is a Korean legal drama that follows the story of lawyers working at law firms. the 28-year-old actress received an offer to portray Kang Hee Ji, a second-year lawyer at the Johwa law firm.
Kang Hee Ji is confident and honest about herself, whether she feels inadequate or competent. She believes that changing a man’s life can change the man’s world entirely. The role’s unique character is expected to blend well with Moon Ga Young’s natural charm to create an exciting character.
As previously reported, actor Lee Jong Suk received an offer to take on the lead role in “Seocho-dong.” He will portray Ahn Joo Hyung, a seasoned lawyer with nine years of experience from the Kyungmin law firm in Seocho-dong.
Director Park Seung Woo, renowned for his work on “Kairos” and “Adamas,” will direct the series. According to the report, this Korean legal drama will start production in 2025 and be released in the same year.
