Nominees for MTV VMAs 2023
The MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) 2023 nominees for the ‘Group of the Year’ accolade include Kpop groups like BLACKPINK, FIFTY FIFTY, NewJeans, SEVENTEEN, and TXT.
BLACKPINK, a Kpop girl group, notably secured the highest number of nominations this year, with recognition in six distinct award categories, along with nominations for Show of the Summer and Group of the Year.
Among their nominations, BLACKPINK’s work “Pink Venom” earned nods in categories like Best Choreography, Best Art Direction, Best Editing, and Best Kpop.
TXT also stood out, emerging as the male Kpop group with the most nominations this year. They are vying for honors in four categories: Song of the Summer, Group of the Year, Push Performance of the Year, and Best K-Pop for their track “Sugar Rush Ride.”
Not only that, FIFTY FIFTY and SEVENTEEN are also in contention for two awards each at the 40th MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) 2023, as they both received nominations for Group of the Year and Best Kpop.
In line with previous announcements, the nominees for Best Kpop this year encompass songs like aespa “Girls,” BLACKPINK “Pink Venom,” FIFTY FIFTY “Cupid,” SEVENTEEN “Super,” Stray Kids “S-Class,” and TXT “Sugar Rush Ride.”
