NCT 127 Won Their First Daesang & Lim Young Woong Took Home the Most Wins at 31st Seoul Music Awards

The 31st Seoul Music Awards took place on January 23 at the Gocheok Sky Dome. Kim Sung Joo, Boom, and Seolhyun successfully lit up the festive event as MCs. This time, NCT 127 took home their first Daesang, and Trot singer Lim Young Woong was the one with the most wins at the 31st Seoul Music Awards!

Like last year, the 31st Seoul Music Awards awarded a single Grand Prize (Daesang) and separate Best Album and Best Song Awards.

The Daesang Awards of the 31st Seoul Music Awards went to NCT 127. Congratulations, NCT 127, for your first Daesang!

Meanwhile, NCT Dream won the Best Album, and IU won the Best Song Awards. And BTS bagged three awards from the 31st Seoul Music Awards: World Best Artist Award, U+ Idol Live Best Artist Award, and the Bonsang (Main Award).

However, it’s not BTS who took home the most wins. Trot singer Lim Young Woong won the most total wins of any artist in the 31st Seoul Music Awards. He took home the OST Award, Trot Award, Popularity Award (Korea), and a Bonsang (Main Award)
