28th SAG Awards 2022 Nominations Reflect Netflix ‘Squid Game’ Achievements as a Team
Finally, Netflix ‘Squid Game’ receiving four nominations for the 28th SAG Awards 2022 was one of the happiest moments for Director Hwang Dong Hyuk and his team. He stated that it was great honor that ‘Squid Game’ not only received solo nominations but also as the whole crew, including the stunt ensemble.
“Since we released the show ‘Squid Game,’ we have experienced many surprising events. But today’s nomination for four categories with the SAG has to be one of the most stunning and happiest moments we’ve experienced.
I’m incredibly honored in that it’s not only one or two lead actors that were recognized, but the entire ensemble was nominated, as well as the stunt ensemble, which is truly a great honor. And it’s great that I’m able to thank every single one of the crew and the cast that I’ve worked so hard on ‘Squid Game.’”
Director Hwang Dong Hyuk to Variety.
