The 2021 AACA will take place in Singapore on December 2nd and 3rd. The annual event reviews and honors the outstanding Asian content and selects the winners of categories. The categories are best actors, dramas, variety shows, documentaries, and branded content.

At the AACA 2020, the Korean drama series ‘Crash Landing on You’ and ‘The Cursed’ won Best Drama and Best Original Screenplay awards, respectively.

‘Sweet Home’

‘Sweet Home‘ is nominated for five categories. Those are Best Director, Best Actress (Lee Si Young), Best Supporting Actor (Lee Do Hyun), Best Supporting Actress (Go Min Si), and Best Special Effect.

It follows Cha Hyun Soo, a high school student who must live alone after lost all of his family. He then moved into a new apartment, where he encountered extraordinary events. The events turned him from a loner who loves to play a game into a real fighter in order to survive.

The drama has a powerful storyline, great visual effects, and a fantastic lineup of cast members. In addition, it successfully captivated the audience worldwide.

As a result, the Supernatural and Sci-Fi series took no.1 spot on the Netflix Top 10 list in 13 countries just four days after the release. In addition, it also remains in the Top 10 in over 70 countries.

‘Move to Heaven’

‘Move to Heaven’ received two nominations for Best Dramas Series and Best Actor (Lee Je Hoon). It follows Geu Roo, a boy with Asperger syndrome, and his uncle Sang Goo (Lee Je Hoon).

They run a family business together, a trauma cleaning company, where they clean the place and things of those who passed away. Both of them reveal the untold stories of the deceased. The drama offered sympathy and healing about death, life, and people.
