As a result of this VLIVE and Weverse integration, HYBE will formulate a brand new version of the Weverse social platform. The company will release the new Weverse in the first half of 2022, and the app will feature VLIVE’s “spot live” facility. Therefore, all Weverse artists will be able to broadcast their Livestream anytime they want.

HYBE: An Entrance to the NFT Business
And finally, being the most progressive Kpop company, HYBE will be expanding its projects into the NFT business. NFT stands for “Non-Fungible Token”, which uses the same blockchain technology behind cryptocurrencies. This business features the ownership exchange of digital content. Therefore, people can buy and sell content ownerships, while others can only view and copy.

For further updates on their entrance into the NFT business, HYBE announced that they would be collaborating with Dunamu, a prominent financial tech company. In this collaboration, HYBE and Dunamu will be combining intellectual property (IP) with NFT to create a joint partnership that allows fans to digitally own artist-related products and content.
Therefore, once HYBE NFT business has been established, fans will be able to collect, exchange, trade, and display these IP-based digital assets via Weverse or similar social platforms.
