Storyline
The upcoming Korean drama “Knock Off” tells the story of a man whose life drastically changes due to a significant event: the 1997 Asian financial crisis (IMF crisis). This financial crisis affected many Asian countries and caused many financial problems on various levels.
Before the big crisis hit, the man was just an average office worker who lived a simple life. However, when the financial crisis hit, his life turned upside down, and he became a powerful person in a risky world. Instead of just doing his regular job, he became entangled in a shady business. He produced and sold fake (or counterfeit) products globally.
The intriguing drama series will be directed by director Park Hyun Suk, who has directed numerous hit dramas. Some of his famous shows include “Songs of the Bandits,” “Stranger 2” and “Uncontrollably Fond.” With his outstanding previous works, Kdrama fans are excited to see his upcoming project, “Knock Off.”
