“It’s Okay to Not Be Okay” writer Jo Yong unites Woo Do Hwan of “Bloodhounds,” Lee Yoo Mi of “Strong Girl Namsoon,” Oh Jung Se of “Revenant,” and Kim Hae Sook of “Strong Girl Namsoon” in a new romantic comedy drama titled “Mr. Plankton.”
The story follows Hae Jo, a free-spirited young man diagnosed with a terminal illness. He doesn’t know who his biological father is until surprising news drives him to search for him. He then begs his ex-lover, Jo Jae Mi, to accompany him on his last journey in life.
Jo Jae Mi (Lee Yoo Mi) is engaged to the wealthy Eo Heung (Oh Jung Se), a man who has a deep fear of his mother and yearns to be loved. Despite this, she believes she is the most unlucky and unhappiest woman after being diagnosed with early menopause. Her dream is to have her own little family and become a mother.
Unknown to Eo Heung’s family, Jae Mi pretends to be pregnant to gain blessing from Hae Jo’s family. However, Hae Jo discovers the truth. He then kidnaps her on her wedding day. Together, they embark on a journey to find his father, with Eo Heung and his mother in hot pursuit.

Following the release of “Face Me” on November 6, Lee Yi Kyung will star in his second new Korean drama this November, titled “Marry You,” which is set to premiere on November 16.
“Marry You” is a romantic comedy family drama that explores the “arranged” love story between Bong Cheol Hui (Lee Yi Kyung) and Jung Ha Na (Jo Soo Min). Bong Cheol Hui is an unconventional bachelor who lives on a remote island and fits the profile of a bachelor who is far from ideal for marriage. Meanwhile, Jung Ha Na is a level 7 civil servant who does not believe in marriage. Ha Na is assigned to the “Marriage Encouragement” team, where her task is to find a woman to be Bong Cheol Hui’s bride. To accomplish her mission, Ha Na collaborates with Bong Cheol Hui’s niblings.
