21 New Kpop Groups Debuted and Will Debut in 2020

Though the KPop industry has been severely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, they never lose creativity and hope. There will be several new KPop groups, both boy groups and girl groups, making their step into the KPop industry. Let’s check out who debuted and will debut in 2020.

KPop Boy Groups

1. B.O.Y.

Many of us might recognize B.O.Y. easily as the members, Song Yuvin and Kim Kookheon, debuted under MYTEEN before participating in Mnet’s Produce X 101. They debuted on January 7, 2020, with their mini-album Phase One: YOU under Music Works. B.O.Y. stands for B Of You, Best Of You, and Both Of You.

2. D.K.B.

Under Brave Entertainment, D.K.B. debuted on February 3, 2020, with their first mini-album Youth. Watch debut single of this 9-member new Kpop boy group, Sorry Mama. D.K.B. stands for Dark Brown Eyes.

3. DUSTIN (더스틴)

Debuting under L.P.A. Entertainment, the 7-member new KPop boy group has been actively communicating with their fans through social media. They have released their first single MV, Burn, on January 6, 2020.

4. TOO

If you watched the survival program, World Klass, you might be familiar with the members of TOO or Ten Oriented Orchestra (티오오). The 10 boys had gone through the audition and debuted on April 1, 2020. Their first album is First Reason for Being: 仁, with Magnolia as the debut single.

5. MCND

7. UNVS (유니버스)

UNVS or Universe debuted in South Korea on February 23, 2020, under Chitwn Music with their first single, Timeless. However, they originally debuted on December 21, 2019 in Taiwan with a digital single I’ll Be There.

This new KPop boy group is gaining more fans through a reality program, Rookie King. The members get the chance to show off their real selves in the reality program, which makes fans love them more.

8. E’LAST

Debuting as an 8-member new KPop boy group, you might be familiar with two of them. They are no other than WonHyuk and Lee WonJun, who appeared on Mnet’s Produce X 101. They previously are known as EBOYZ, and their new name stands for Everlasting.

10. OUIBOYS

OUI Entertainment is debuting a new KPop boy group, OUIBOYS, or. The members surely received a systematic training system that focuses on their vocal, rap, dance, and performance skills.

Even before the debut, some KPop fans already have speculations about the possible members: Jang Daehyeon, Kim Donghan, Kim Yohan, Kang Seokhwa and two other unidentified trainees

11. B.X.K. (비엑스케이)

Scheduled to debut in July 2020, B.X.K. will be the first boy group under New Planet Entertainment. The rumor spread is that the group has impressive skills. They have released a pre-debut single Fly High at the beginning of July and expected to make their debut at the end of July.
