Netflix K-Drama Series “Show Business” Cast and Characters Announced
Netflix’s upcoming Korean drama series, “Show Business,” is a highly anticipated production. It’s not only a promising collaboration of top actors and actresses, but also a potential masterpiece of renowned director and writer Lee Yoon Jung and Noh Hye Kyung.
Writer Noh Hee Kyung is a seasoned writer known for her popular K-dramas “Our Blues,” “Live,” and “That Winter, The Wind Blows.” Director Lee Yoon Jung is a talented and renowned director of the popular series “Cheese in the Trap” and “Coffee Prince.”
This upcoming drama series marks writer Noh Hee Kyung’s third collaboration with leading actress Song Hye Kyo, following “That Winter, the Wind Blows” and “The World That They Live In.” Moreover, it also marks Cha Seung Won and writer Noh Hee Kyung’s second collaboration following “Our Blues” in 2022.
Further, the upcoming drama marks an exciting reunion between Gong Yoo and director Lee Yoon Jung, following their hit drama “Coffee Prince” in 2012.
Besides Song Hye Kyo and Gong Yoo, the upcoming show will feature Seolhyun, Cha Seung Won, and Lee Ha Nee.

Seolhyun as Min Hee
Min Hee has a complicated relationship with Min Ja since their childhood. Despite their love-hate relationship, Min Hui follows Min Ja’s lead without hesitation and shows her rebellious side to Min Ja without hesitation.
Cha Seung Won as Gil Yeo
Gil Yeo is a legendary composer. He has produced many stars in the music industry.
Lee Ha Nee as Yang Ja
Yang Ja is Min Hee’s mother. She dreams of becoming a singer despite facing harsh reality and financial difficulties.
The production of this drama has started since December 2024, and the filming is scheduled to be completed by December 2025. This show is expected to premiere in the second half of 2026. In addition, the drama is currently in talks for a 22-episode series on Netflix.
