Kim Ji Hoon and Seo Ji Hye Possibly Starring in New Drama “Petty Love”
On February 19, an exclusive report from Edaily revealed that actress Seo Ji Hye is set to appear in the upcoming rom-com drama “Petty Love” (literal title).
On the same day, Spotvnews reported that actor Kim Ji Hoon has been cast in the same drama. In response to the casting report, Kim Ji Hoon’s agency, BIGPICTURE ENT, confirmed the news to Ilgan Sports. They stated,
““Petty Love” is one of the projects he has received a casting offer for.”

Director Kim Ga Ram, known for her hit K-dramas “Nevertheless” and “Good Partner,” will helm the drama. And writer Jung Yeo Rang, who gained fame with her debut “Doctor Cha,” wrote the script.
“Petty Love” Storyline
“Petty Love” portrays the romance between veteran actor Lim Hyun Jun and former political journalist Wi Jeong Shin. The actor is famous for his detective roles but dreams of becoming a master of melodrama and romantic drama. Meanwhile, the award-winning journalist is recognized as ‘Reporter of the Year.’ After a significant incident, she was transferred from the political department to the entertainment department.
Kim Ji Hoon and Seo Ji Hye’s Roles
In “Petty Love,” Seo Ji Hye plays the chief journalist. This drama will be her next project after the mystery thriller adaptation “Reverse.” Last year, she starred in the hit series “Love Next Door” as Jung Hae In’s ex-girlfriend.
