Oh Jung Se Speech at Baeksang Arts Awards
One of the best and most memorable moments in the ceremony was when Oh Jung Se delivered his speech upon receiving his Baeksang Arts Awards for Best Supporting Actor in TV.
Kim Soo Hyun Teary Eyes
As the actor delivered his acceptance speech and gratitude to colleagues in It’s Okay to Not be Okay drama, the camera pans on Kim Soo Hyun, showing his teary eyes and proud gaze at the skilled actor, especially when Oh Jung Se specifically mentioned his name. The solid brotherly bond between these two actors apparently expands in real life.

Translated Oh Jung See speech at Baeksang Arts Awards
A rough translation was available to get a better understanding of the speech, thanks to a dedicated fan on Twitter.
“I am receiving so much love these days. I am a clumsy and inadequate person. I’d like to express my appreciation to the company representatives who cover for my mistakes, as well as to everyone on the team who makes the job possible.
Since a supporting role is one that assists the main character. However it seems to be the contrary. The lead role is excellent at it, but the supporting role can’t succeed unless the lead role assists the supporting role. The lead position must be helping a lot.
Thank you, my beloved younger brother, Moon Gang Tae. My heart was overwhelmed just by looking at your eyes. And thank you writer Ko Moonyoung.”

Moon Sang Tae character in It’s Okay to Not Be Okay
Oh Jung Se received Baeksang Arts Awards 2021 as the Best Supporting Actor for TV thanks to his incredible performance as Moon Sang Tae in It’s Okay to Not Be Okay.
Moon Sang Tae is a gifted illustrator suffering from autism. His conditions forced him to live very dependently on his younger brother and the main character, Moon Gang Tae, especially after he witnessed their mother’s murder.
Moon Sang Tae’s character was performed profoundly, allowing Oh Jung Se to receive praises, and finally getting him to beat several other prominent Baeksang Arts Awards 2021 nominees such as Kim Seon Ho (tvN’s Start-Up), Kim Ji Hoon (Flower of Evil), Lee Hee Joon (tvN’s Mouse), and Choi Dae Hoon (JTBC’s Beyond Evil).
Bravo, Oh Jung Se! Congratulations!
