On November 7, Korean media reported that SPIRE Entertainment had released an official statement through the group’s official Fan Cafe.
According to the official statement, SPIRE Entertainment apologized for the abuse that OMEGA X members had to endure and announced that CEO Kang Song Hee had resigned from her position.
“We apologize deeply to the members, families, fans of OMEGA X, and everyone who had been hurt by the recent unfortunate situation.
SPIRE Entertainment takes full responsibility for the situation. We announce that the CEO who’s responsible for this matter has resigned.
Also, we’d like to apologize for not responding well and disappointing many fans with inadequate response to the situation.”

The Members Regain Their Freedom with a New Independent Instagram Account
Along with the announcement that SPIRE Entertainment CEO Kang Seong Hee resignation, OMEGA X members finally regained their freedom by opening a new Instagram account, completely independent from their agency.
On November 7, OMEGA X posted for the very first time since their abuse controversy by SPIRE Entertainment CEO Kang Seong Hee. However, instead of using their official social media account, OMEGA X members decided to open a new Instagram account, @omega_x__for_x.
They created the new Instagram account, completely independent from their agency, SPIRE Entertainment. Therefore, it is a good start and an excellent sign that OMEGA X members have finally regained parts of their freedom. And especially their freedom of speech and expression.
OMEGA X First Official Statement Since the Abuse Controversy by SPIRE Entertainment Former CEO Kang Seong Hee
As the first post on the new Instagram account, OMEGA X members released their own official statement regarding the abuse controversy.
The Kpop group admitted SPIRE Entertainment required them to consult the agency before posting on their social media. Hence, their interactions became less and less active.
OMEGA X also admitted that they had received unwanted treatment from the agency for the past two years. But it was all thanks to their fans that they managed to get this far. For OMEGA X members, their fans were the only reasons they managed to endure everything and keep fighting for their dreams.
Finally, now that the controversy has ended and SPIRE Entertainment CEO Kang Seong He resigned, OMEGA X promises to stand tall in front of the fans with good music and performances.
