On August 21, Sports Kyunghyang reported an official statement from OMEGA X’s current agency IPQ. In the statement, IPQ revealed that severe malicious accusations happened to Kpop group OMEGA X. The malicious comments seemed to allegedly come from OMEGA X former agency SPIRE Entertainment.
According to IPQ, some YouTubers have been spreading biased accusations based on claims by OMEGA X’s former agency, SPIRE Entertainment. They claimed that IPQ had stolen OMEGA X from SPIRE Entertainment and that the CEO sexual abuse case was a planned act from OMEGA X against their former agency.
These YouTubers’ claims have distorted the truth, causing harm to, and damaging the reputations of, OMEGA X and their agency.
Originally discussing FIFTY FIFTY’s incident, the YouTuber went on to discuss the CEO abuse case involving the Kpop group OMEGA X. However, instead of confirming the facts with all the related people and companies, the malicious YouTubers have distorted numerous one-sided claims as if they were the true story.
“Some YouTubers are twisting the truth by only creating content that supports the claims of OMEGA X’s old agency, Spire Entertainment.
We have checked the facts with OMEGA X’s former manager and the journalist who reported the incident. Also, we took a look at all the records from when the news first came out and found that everything Spire Entertainment and the YouTube channel said is not true.”

“Hello, this is IPQ.
We would like to inform you of our official position in response to the YouTube video by In Jiwoong.

- It is not true that SPIRE Entertainment has been cleared of sexual abuse against OMEGA X members. We have secured numerous evidence of sexual abuse that happened to OMEGA X members by former SPIRE Entertainment CEO beyond the evidence available in the media.
We can no longer tolerate the accusations and distortion of the truth. Therefore, we plan to pursue strong legal actions against the spread of false information by In Jiwoong Kpop Idol TrainerYouTube channel.
Additionally, we will also take legal complaints against SPIRE Entertainment for violating the contract termination agreement related to OMEGA X’s IP transfer.

“We have tried to help OMEGA X move past the harm inflicted by the previous agency, enabling them to pursue their dreams without dwelling on the damage suffered. However, the one-sided violation of our agreement and the distortion of truth by Spire Entertainment has reached a point where we can no longer stand idly by.
Therefore, we will now set the record straight regarding all matters and facts concerning OMEGA X and Spire Entertainment. And it will include everything that transpired before establishing our exclusive contract with OMEGA X.
