OMEGA X Members Finally Return to South Korea After Alleged Abuse from CEO Kang
OMEGA X members are finally home!
On October 25, Korean media reported that members of kpop group OMEGA X had finally returned to South Korea. Previously, after the alleged case of abuse from SPIRE CEO Kang, suspicions emerged that OMEGA X had their flight canceled. Therefore, it calls for a question whether OMEGA X is really safe. That is especially knowing that the members are stranded in the US with their alleged abuser.
However, video reports from Ten TV and BEHIND showed that all members of OMEGA X have finally been able to return safely to South Korea.
The Members Bought Their Own Tickets Home
Unfortunately, members of OMEGA X had to purchase their way back to South Korea with their personal finance.
SBS news reported that OMEGA X members were supposed to return to South Korea on October 23. However, an agency representative reportedly canceled their flight. It caused them to get stranded in the US following the case of abuse from CEO Kang.
Therefore, the members must personally purchase their flight tickets home using their own money. Some members even had to get their parents’ help to pay the airfare cost. After all, the average price of the tickets from Los Angeles to Seoul was 975,000 KRW (approximately 683.2 USD).
Still, after everything they’ve been through, all the members are finally home.
Is OMEGA X Members Really Safe After the Alleged Abuse Case from CEO Kang?
At last, the vital question remains will be: after all the alleged abuse they received from CEO Kang, is OMEGA X really safe?
Even after their previous flight cancellation report and video evidence revealed from the media, SBS reported that OMEGA X CEO Kang Seong Hee was still causing a commotion. The hotel security had to stop her after she kept causing a fuss in the hotel hallway, repeatedly knocking on the doors of the rooms where OMEGA X members were staying.
Not only that, reports finally appeared later that the local police had dispatched their units twice to the hotel due to the situation.
However, CEO Kang kept denying the alleged abuse case to OMEGA X and stated that it was only a misunderstanding.
Finally, upon their arrival in South Korea, SPIRE Chairman Hwang—also CEO Kang’s husband—was seen picking up OMEGA X members at the airport. Fans wonder whether OMEGA X is safe knowing that the one picking them up was the abuser’s husband and company chairman, who had let the abuse happen.
