Park Bo Gum and Oh Jung Se May Team Up in a New Action-Crime Drama “Good Boy”
After confirming his musical debut this year, Park Bo Gum reportedly received another offer for a new drama project. According to an exclusive report by JoyNews24 on July 14, Park Bo Gum’s agency, THEBLACKLABEL, confirmed the news. The agency stated,
“He has received a proposal to appear in the drama ‘Good Boy’ and is currently reviewing it.”

Furthermore, according to Newsen, on July 24, actor Oh Jung Se received an offer for the same new drama. Prain TPC, Oh Jung Se’s agency, confirmed the reports. They stated that the actor had received the proposal for the new drama and is currently reviewing it.

“Good Boy” Korean Drama
The drama “Good Boy” centers around international competition medalists who wear police badges around their necks. These athletes faced pension cuts, tragic career endings, and uncertain livelihoods in unpopular sports. They unite as the “Olympic Avengers,” forming a special task force to combat heinous crimes using their sports skills against injustice.
Park Bo Gum received an offer to play the character of Yoon Dong Joo. He is a former boxing athlete and a current special forces team member. However, there has yet to be any information regarding the possible role that Oh Jung Se will play. Nevertheless, Kdrama fans eagerly anticipate whether both actors will join the cast and showcase their chemistry on-screen.
Furthermore, writer Lee Dae Il of ‘Life On Mars’ and “Chief of Staff” will write the drama’s script. And director Shim Na Yeon of “The Good Bad Mother” and “Beyond Evil” will helm the drama.

Since his discharge from military service last year, Park Bo Gum has been incredibly busy. The 30-year-old singer-actor, Park Bo Gum, is currently working on “Thank You For Your Hard Work.” In addition, he is also preparing for his fan meeting and musical debut, “Let Me Fly,” this year.
Meanwhile, actor Oh Jung Se is currently starring in “Revenant” and has multiple confirmed and potential drama projects this year. His confirmed projects include “Death’s Game,” “Mr. Plankton,” “The Return of Kwon Baek,” “When the Stars Gossip,” and “Sweet Home” Season 2. In addition, he may also join “Sweet Home” Season 3. If he accepts the offer for “Good Boy,” it will mark his sixth Korean drama project this year.
