As reported by Sports Chosun on July 9, Korean drama actor Park Bo Gum, who was previously in talks, has been confirmed to take the stage in the musical “Let Me Fly.” He will showcase his talents and captivate the audience with his performance.
Park Bo Gum is known for his outstanding performances in TV dramas, movies, variety shows, and as a charismatic MC. This musical represents a significant milestone in his 12-year career as he makes his theatrical debut.
The musical “Let Me Fly” received six nominations at the prestigious 7th Korea Musical Awards. It excelled in three categories: Best Musical, Best Composition, and Best New Actor.

The captivating musical “Let Me Fly” tells the extraordinary story of Nam Won, a character who undergoes a life-altering transformation. Set during a fateful night in 1969, Nam Won experiences a remarkable change as he transforms into a 70-year-old grandfather. This transformation marks a turning point in his life, forever altering his life path.
The extraordinary story weaves between the realms of the past and future. In this tale, the immature Nam Won takes on a challenging journey to reclaim his lost youth. Sun Hee, his devoted wife, and Jung Boon, his irreplaceable love, accompany Nam Won on his emotional odyssey.
The talented Park Bo Gum will grace the stage and portray the character of Nam Won. Alongside Ahn Ji Hwan and Shin Jae Beom, Park Bo Gum will represent the young Nam Won. Kim Tae Hwan, Kim Do Bin, and Lee Hyung Hoon will portray the older version of Nam Won.

Save the dates! The musical ‘Let Me Fly’ will enthrall audiences with 100 exhilarating shows at the YES24 Stage in Seoul. The performances will run from September 26 to December 10, 2023. The ticket sales will start in August.
After concluding the Seoul performances, the talented cast will embark on a tour. They will visit cities such as Busan, Anyang, and more to meet with audiences across different locations.

According to a report from OSEN on July 8, Park Bo Gum is preparing to hold a long-awaited fan meeting next month. This fan meeting will be his first in four years and aims to celebrate his 12th debut anniversary.
Park Bo Gum’s fan meeting will take place at the Olympic Park Olympic Hall on August 11 at 7:30 PM and August 12 at 5:00 PM.
