Park Eun Bin & SF9 Rowoon to Star in KBS New Historical Drama "Yeonmo"

On March 19, KBS has announced that Park Eun Bin and SF9 Rowoon are confirmed to star in KBS’s new historical romance drama based on a Korean comic titled “Yeonmo.”

The upcoming drama “Yeonmo” is based on manhwa (a Korean comic). Yeonmo (연모) means Love or Affection in the historical term. Lee So Young was the author of the historical romance drama.

Director Son Hyun Wook, who directed Graceful Friends in 2020, will helm the drama. Further, Han Hee Jung, who wrote the script Clean with Passion for Now (2018–2019), will write the script. The upcoming drama is scheduled to air sometime in the second half of 2021.

Yeonmo drama tells about twins (a male and a female) born in a palace. After the crown prince (the twin brother died), the princess (the twin sister) is ordered to disguise herself as a male and becomes the crown prince as the monarch’s heir.

The production staff of Yeonmo revealed that Park Eun Bin and Rowoon look like real comic characters. Park Eun Bin will take the role of Crown Prince Lee Hwi. Lee Hwi is a Crown Prince who is perfect in everything, starting from knowledge, strength, and beauty. However, she has cold eyes and a poker face, which hiding her feelings and secret. Moreover, she also keeps her distance from anyone in the palace.

In this romance drama, SF9 Rowoon will take the role of Jung Ji Woon. Jung Ji Woon works in Sigangwon, that responsible for the Crown Prince’s education. He is an optimist, persistent and fearless man. Yet, he loves to enjoy life and worry-free.
