“The Veil” Actress Park Ha Sun to Star in New Korean Historical Drama (Sageuk)
Actress Park Ha Sun will continue rebuilding her outstanding reputation in a new Korean historical drama.
KBS News reported that actress Park Ha Sun had confirmed her appearance in the upcoming historical drama. As the production team has yet to announce the English title, The new historical drama starring Park Ha Sun is tentatively titled “Why Did the Madam Give Meat to Male Servant?”. It is the literal translation of the Korean title: “마님은 왜 마당쇠에게 고기를 주었나.”
Further in the report, KBS revealed that the new Korean historical drama is a work by KBS drama special screenwriter Wi Jae Hwa and director Ham Young Geol. At the same time, the new Korean historical drama will be under the production of Korean company Ascendio, which previously produced “Fan Letter, Please” miniseries.
Storyline and Character
The drama, “Why Did the Madam Give Meat to Male Servant?” follows the story of a Joseon scholar who discovers a secretive meeting between his wife and a male servant. It is a new Korean historical drama with the comedy romance genre with exciting twists and unexpected storyline.
“The Veil” actress Park Ha Sun will take on the role of Choi Seol Ae. She is a woman of striking beauty and elegance, exuding a delightful charm. She is the wife of the most respectable scholar in Joseon with a simple frugal living.
According to the report, Park Ha Sun would be working alongside actor Kim Joo Heon in the new drama.
