A new legendary park-park couple will soon bloom in the hearts of Korean drama fans as Park Hyung Sik and Park Shin Hye reunite as a couple in new drama, “Doctor Slump”.
On November 30, Korean media reported that Park Hyung Sik and Park Shin Hye might act together as the lead couple in a new JTBC drama, “Doctor Slump”. And according to the report, this new drama will schedule to broadcast next year.
“Doctor Slump”: What is the Drama About?
So, what is JTBC “Doctor Slump” new drama about?
Sports Seoul exclusive report further mentioned that “Doctor Slump” drama would depict a story about two main characters whose fate depleted from having a promising future into a deep slump. Shedding their careers as talented doctors, the two protagonists’ lives went down the hole that they had to live in rooftop rooms.
Actress Park Shin Hye will take on the role of the female main character, Nam Ha Neul. Ha Neul is a talented doctor who became a victim of bullying from her medical professor. Due to the incident, she decided to leave the hospital and her job.
Meanwhile, actor Park Hyung Sik will portray the male lead, Yeo Jung Woo. Jung Woo is a skilled plastic surgeon with a successful career. However, one day this successful plastic surgeon gets involved in a medical accident. The accident then caused him to go bankrupt and lose his business.
More exciting conflicts will arise once the two main characters meet as neighbors after moving into rooftop rooms. Apparently, Nam Ha Neul and Yeo Jung Woo were two rivals who competed for the #1 rank during high school. Today, they have to meet once again in unpleasant situations.
On top of everything, we will see the two characters embrace each other’s pain and grow as both doctors and persons. At the end of the day, we will see them find their ways to get back on their feet and eventually fall in love.

In addition to the promising storyline, “Doctor Slump” new drama will mark Park Shin Hye’s comeback after getting married to Choi Tae Joon and giving birth to their first son.
