The year 2023 will be the year for idol actor Park Hyung Sik to continuously shine and prove his brilliant talent as an actor. Along with the anticipated Park-Park couple in the new drama with Park Shin Hye, Park Hyung Sik will be making an appearance with rising actress Jeon So Nee.
On December 27, Korean media reported that Park Hyung Sik and Jeon So Nee would star in a new historical drama, Our Blooming Youth. The two young actors will transform into 2 young people living in the Joseon era, striving against fate for the hidden truth for a beautiful romance and happiness.
OUR BLOOMING YOUTH New Historical Drama: What is it About?
According to the report, Our Blooming Youth new drama is a historical drama (sageuk) about two ill-fated individuals who cure each other’s fate through a destined encounter.
The crown prince of Joseon is suffering from a mysterious curse. One day, he meets a genius woman who becomes a suspect of her own family’s murder. The two finally met and fall in love in the process of clearing the woman’s name and curing the prince’s curse.
Talented idol actor Park Hyung Sik will transform himself into the lonely crown prince, Lee Hwan, who holds the secret of a mysterious curse. Behind his cold and arrogant exterior and ill-tempered and capricious personality, Lee Hwan has to fight with a wound hiding deep inside his heart.
It will be such an exciting experience to see Park Hyung Sik transform himself into a classic cold personality main role after seeing him in a series of sweet smiles in Happiness and Soundtrack #1.
At the same time, rising actress Jeon So Nee will be playing the role of genius Joseon woman Min Jae Yi. Jae Yi is the daughter of a prestigious family whose reputation falls into the gutter after becoming the murder suspect of her own family. She becomes a wanted woman for the false accusation and must fight to solve the mystery alone.
Jeon So Nee is famous for her delicate emotional acting, especially in Encounter and When My Love Blooms. It will be incredibly exhilarating to see her transformation as a powerful, strong-willed woman of Joseon who fights for her fate.

On top of everything, director Lee Jong Jae of 100 Days My Prince and Psychopath Diary will be the one leading the team. So, we can finally expect another sageuk masterpiece next year on February 6 at 8.50 PM KST on tvN.
