3. Itaewon Class

Adapted from a webtoon with the same title, Itaewon Class allowed Park Seo Joon to play Park Sae Ro Yi, a restaurant owner, and Itaewon’s Underdog.

In order to play Park Sae Ro Yi in Itaewon Class, not only the actor had to cut his hair in a chestnut model and bulked up in the gym, he had to extend his acting skills because Park Sae Ro Yi was a lot different from all the character he had previously played.

Park Seo Joon himself claimed that Park Sae Ro Yi’s character changed him, “All my projects are dear to me, but I remember I had a lot of thoughts after the end of ‘Itaewon Class.’ I changed a lot after meeting the character called ‘Park Sae Roy.’ It’s been a year but I still remember it vividly.
