1. Kill Me Heal Me
While he may not be the main character in this drama, Kill Me Heal Me is the very first drama in which Park Seo Joo became widely recognized as one of the best actors in the Korean movie industry.
In Kill Me Heal Me, Park Seo Joon played Oh Ri On, a supposed twin brother of the main character. Oh Ri On was hilarious but considerate at the same time, and Park Seo Joon managed to bring them out just as perfect. His chemistry with both main characters: Cha Do Hyun (played by Ji Sung) and his twin sister, Oh Ri Jin (played by Hwang Jung Eum), was exceptional that you could not help but laugh and cry at the same time.
Just finished watching”Kill Me, Heal Me”. At first, Park Seo Joon is the only reason why I watch this but as the story goes, Hwang Jung Eum and Ji Sung did a really great job. The story is really interesting and Ji Sung portrayal of his 7 personalities are remarkable. pic.twitter.com/lfxdmnWMuO

2. She Was Pretty
Paired with Hwang Jung Eum for the second time, Park Seo Joon played a kind and stylish editor of a fashion magazine, Ji Sung Joon.
She Was Pretty might be considered a typical rom-com drama, but this drama was the beginning of Park Seo Joon’s “Rom-Com Master” or “Rom-Com Bulldozer” nickname. In She Was Pretty, Park Seo Joon demonstrated his acting skills from being a strict boss, a warm boyfriend, and an innocent man who just wants to meet his childhood best friend.

3. Itaewon Class
Adapted from a webtoon with the same title, Itaewon Class allowed Park Seo Joon to play Park Sae Ro Yi, a restaurant owner, and Itaewon’s Underdog.
In order to play Park Sae Ro Yi in Itaewon Class, not only the actor had to cut his hair in a chestnut model and bulked up in the gym, he had to extend his acting skills because Park Sae Ro Yi was a lot different from all the character he had previously played.
Park Seo Joon himself claimed that Park Sae Ro Yi’s character changed him, “All my projects are dear to me, but I remember I had a lot of thoughts after the end of ‘Itaewon Class.’ I changed a lot after meeting the character called ‘Park Sae Roy.’ It’s been a year but I still remember it vividly. He was a very impactful character.”
Most of Park Seo Joon characters were mostly warm, funny, and gentle. But not this time. Park Sae Ro Yi is tough, and he lived his life for revenge. In Itaewon Class, you will see Park Seo Joon’s facial expressions you would not have seen in his other dramas.

4. Fight for My Way
Fight for My Way is one of Park Seo Joon best dramas you simply cannot miss! Paired with Kim Ji Won, this drama will get you a stomachache from laughing too hard and an empty tissue box for crying so much.
In Fight for My Way, Park Seo Joon played Go Dong Man, a man who dreams of taking home the UFC title. The character he played may not be as stern and serious as Park Sae Ro Yi, but that’s beside the point. In this drama, the best thing you will enjoy is how much chemistry was on between Park Seo Joon and Kim Ji Won and how cute their aegyo gestures and dialogue.
Look at Park Seo Joon’s reaction on his aegyo 👀 so cute 😍😂

Watching Fight for My Way and Itaewon Class back-to-back is not recommended, or you may be too shocked by Park Seo Joon’s change in character.
5. What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim
Saving the best for the last, What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim is the drama that made Park Seo Joon a huge hit. In this drama, he played a narcissist CEO, Lee Young Joon, whose main hobby was to admire his looks and everything he had.
The main point why What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim became one of Park Seo Joon best dramas was his extraordinary chemistry with the female lead, Kim Mi So, played by Park Min Young. What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim is the drama that created the Park-Park couple and the one causing Park Seo Joon and Park Min Young dating rumor.
What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim is the #1 Park Seo Joon’s drama that will definitely make your heart flutter.
