Storyline
“Butterfly” is not an ordinary spy thriller that revolves around spies and action. It’s a character-driven story that explores complex family secrets against the treacherous world of global espionage. The thrilling tale will surely keep you on the edge of your seat.
The story follows David Jung, a former U.S. intelligence operative living in South Korea. However, his past refuses to stay buried. A single decision he made a long time ago comes back to haunt him.
His quiet life is completely blown apart when Rebecca, a deadly and sociopathic young agent, runs after her. Her mission is one: to kill him. But she isn’t acting alone. Rebecca answers to Caddis, the ruthless leader of a sinister spy organization. She is the shadowy force pulling all the strings.
However, the mission takes a shocking turn. Rebecca discovers that David Jung is her father. She believed he had died a long time ago. She soon learns the whole truth. He disappeared to protect her from the very organization she now works for.
