8 Questions from BTS Film Out MV that Really Need Answers!

Film Out, BTS latest music video, has left the audience with loads of questions. The music video is full of clues and references, which has further invoked curiosity among fans and trigger such BTS Film Out theories. While there were many questions, we put down some of the pertinent 8 questions that we really need answers to.

1. Are BTS members missing from Jin’s reality?

Do you remember BTS Universe, which started in the HYYH era in 2015? Film Out music video could be a continuation of that because even in that video, Jin was seen alone in reality while looking at his and his fellow BTS members other versions. Hence, this could mean that he could save other members again and that they may have never existed in reality. It’s all a ‘perhaps’ as of now.

2. How many parallel universes are there?

In the earlier music videos of BTS, such as the BTS Universe Story game, The Notes 1, The Notes 2, and the Save Me webtoon, Jin time travels to meet his friends, and in that process, he creates alternate realities. However, soon, all his friends disappear, and he finds himself opening a door surrounded by many other doors. This means that each of his friends could be behind any of these doors. There is no way out for him.

3. Jin, an imposter in BTS’s reality?

Every time Jimin, J-Hope, Jungkook, RM, Suga, and V are in the same room; if you look closely, you’d notice that Jin’s face is never shown. So much so that in one scene of BTS Film Out MV, Jin is played by a body double. Does this mean that the real Jin is gone and other members are yearning for him to come back?

4. Jungkook is Jin’s successor?

You would have noticed that in some of the scenes, Jungkook could sense Jin across dimensions. This, according to fans, happened because they believe Jungkook may be one of Jin’s successors. Jungkook, therefore, sensed Jin when he picked up the hourglass. After Jin picked up, Jungkook looked at his own hourglass, and he saw that his one ran out.

5. Did Jungkook also turn back time?

Even though it is widely believed that Jin is the one who turned back time, however, if you re-watch the scene, you’d realize that when Jungkook looked at the hourglass, that’s when the hourglass disappeared from Jin’s hand. In the scene, Jungkook is directly looking at Jin disappearing, and once Jin disappeared, the hourglass reversed again. And when Jin looked back, he looked shocked, so does that mean that Jin was not expecting this? Is Jungkook the one who turned back the time?

6. J-Hope and Suga are the gatekeepers or narrators?

It looks like J-Hope and Suga existed at a crossroads between BTS’s group reality and Jin’s reality. This is reflected by the door frame that’s in between them, in BTS’s room. It could also mean that they were in their own reality. However, when they came face to face at the end, it felt like they were both the narrators of the story, telling us what happened from the outside.

7. V also time traveled?

V came directly face to face with Jin at the end of the music video. Just like Jungkook, it seemed like even V had the ability to time travel and was in his own reality. After Jin and V came face to face, Jin disappeared. This could also mean saving BTS is now upon the hands of V?

8. Is there a happy ending for BTS?

The loop keeps going on. Just when we think that finally, they all meet, it starts all over again. When will it end? Only tomorrow can tell. Despite all the twists and turns, we love it and cannot wait for more. Hopefully, we see one with a happy ending soon?
