Ramyun Brothers (or also known as Brother Ramyeon) is a Korean reality show that will forever change what you know about Korean ramyun! The series stars Kang Ho-dong, Lee Seung-Gi and Bae Inhyuk who open a ramyun shop in Japan. Against all logic, they try and recreate recipes for Korea’s addictive “soul food”. 1. Most of the cast members are not good cooks
Kang Hodong is an acknowledged Korean MC who also has talent in cooking. He has appeared in various Korean gourmet and traveling variety shows before Ramyun Brothers. However, the other two cast members admit that they are not skilled in cooking.
Although Lee Seunggi takes food seriously, he admits that most good food belongs in the domain of experts and he never wants to ruin a dish with a mistake. Fortunately, ramyun as the soul food of Koreans, can be prepared by people who even do not know anything about cooking.
Meanwhile, Bae Inhyuk confesses that despite living alone for a long time and cooking for himself, his culinary skills remain at a basic level.
2. Bae Inhyuk has a very high standard for food
Being born in Jeonju, ‘the city of flavors,’ Bae Inhyuk grew up accustomed to delightful food. He fondly recalls his grandmother’s culinary prowess and the delectable dishes she used to prepare.

3. Ramyun Brothers’ secret recipe
As a foodie, Bae Inhyuk believes that ramyun goes well with any ingredients. He even shared his secret recipe: adding Ssamjang or soybean paste to ramyun will make it tastier.
However, as someone who doesn’t frequently consume ramyun, Lee Seunggi believes that adding a perilla leaf is essential to enhance his ramyun.
4. More experienced yet kind hyungs
Kang Hodong and Lee Seunggi are familiar with variety shows on TV. Meanwhile, Bae Inhyuk has Ramyun Brothers as his first variety show program. Moreover, he is the youngest in the team. Fortunately, he has two kind-hearted hyungs in the team, who makes him comfortable during the filming process.
“They (Kang Hodong and Lee Seunggi) are so kind and made sure I felt comfortable around them which I am thankful for. We had great chats and I got advice from both of them as well.”

5. The most appealing ramyun menu
The Ramyun Brothers team plans to sell 21 ramyun menus loved by Koreans. From the regular ramyun – as we know it – to ingredients we never thought would go well with ramyun. And, everything on the menu is highly recommended which we can try it out at home as well.
According to Lee Seunggi, Jjajang ramyun received the best feedback. However, we have to watch the show to know the most appealing ramyun menu from Ramyun Brothers.
