The drama controversy between HYBE and ADOR has finally affected NewJeans! While HYBE has been getting a lot of hate for starting their alleged plan to erase NewJeans, the company eventually spoke up that they were not the real reason behind the recent issues involving The GRAMMY Museum. And you will not believe what actually happened behind the scenes! Curious? Dive deeper with us in the following report.
HYBE Joins The GRAMMY Museum Exhibition without NewJeans – Drama Controversy Continues!
Following the recent drama controversy between HYBE and ADOR CEO Min Heejin, the company now faces more allegations involving NewJeans. Netizens are now suspicious that HYBE has started to proceed with their plans of erasing NewJeans from the global music industry. How? By sabotaging their activities.
A few days ago, reports stated that HYBE would join The GRAMMY Museum in holding a special exhibition for its artists. With the title of “HYBE: We Believe in Music, A GRAMMY Museum Exhibit,” this event would reportedly showcase various iconic items from its artists on display within one of the world’s biggest exhibitions.
“HYBE and their artists are representing the global music scene today and for the future.
With this exhibit, we want to help everyone appreciate and respect these amazing creators and performers even more.
HYBE has built an innovative playground that inspires fans of all ages, genders, and places. Therefore, The GRAMMY Museum is super excited to offer a space where fans can show their love for Kpop and feel closer to their favorite idols.”
President/CEO of the GRAMMY Museum, Michael Sticka.
Along with the announcement, almost all prominent HYBE artists, from the global megastar BTS to the latest rookies ILLIT and KATSEYE, were said to participate in the exhibition. And yet, one group in particular did not appear on the lineup: NewJeans.
HYBE Has Allegedly Started Plans to Erase NewJeans Due to the Drama Controversy
And so, netizens expressed their massive disappointment. They believe that by excluding NewJeans from The GRAMMY Museum exhibition, HYBE has started its plans to erase the group, just as suspected during the previous drama controversy.
hybe stans will still say newjeans aren't mistreated by that company despite it being very clear that pig ceo has been trying to sabotage them since debut https://t.co/FW28QiN7gC

It’s hilarious that *now* HYBE remembers Fromis 9, but excludes NewJeans which is their most profitable gg.

This isn’t the first time HYBE has acted shady towards Nwjns but at least now it’s clear HYBE doesn’t support Nwjns. https://t.co/LoyfitiDgS
This NewJeans exclusion became a massive issue, especially when HYBE previously told the members’ parents that the company was planning a long vacation until they found a new producer for the group.
“CEO Park Ji Won said they planned to give NewJeans a long vacation after the Tokyo Dome event.
We didn’t ask how long the vacation would be, but CEO Park mentioned that it takes about a year and a half to recruit a Grammy-winning producer, but they would try to do it quickly.”

Not only that, but HYBE had also faced many allegations regarding its plans to erase NewJeans because of its drama controversy with ADOR CEO Min Heejin. It was reportedly the main reason why they debuted ILLIT, a new rookie with a similar concept.
This is why fans became even more furious after noticing NewJeans’ exclusion from the lineup. They believe that HYBE is setting their plans in motion.
The SHOCKING Real Reason
Unfortunately, HYBE is not the real reason behind the exclusion from The GRAMMY Museum exhibition. On the other hand, apparently, it was NewJeans’ own label, ADOR, that refused to join HYBE at this event.
On July 10, HYBE revealed to Sports Kyunghyang that the company let each of their labels make the decision whether to join The GRAMMY Museum. And so, the exclusion of NewJeans was entirely based on the choice of its label, ADOR.
“The decision to participate in this exhibition was made based on the choice of label.”
HYBE.
And so, some fans started adding details that it was ADOR CEO Min Heejin who—from the very beginning—did not want NewJeans to get associated with HYBE.
“we thought you didn't want hybe associated with newjeans” oh you're right the point here is how hybe has placed itself in the media as the savior of newjeans to the point of treating girls’ parents as villains when we all know that’s not the case https://t.co/wjUOWXPycb pic.twitter.com/f5OffLujpf

A reminder that MHJ doesn't want them to be related to HYBE and it is HER choice to keep them as a separate product (not people because she doesn't view them as such) https://t.co/q5WYQmH3MW pic.twitter.com/S8gxp93If4

Finally, what do you think about this issue? Will the drama controversy only make everything worse for both HYBE and NewJeans? Or will this only propel them further? Please share your thoughts in the comments.
