REBORN RICH Continues to Top Most Buzzworthy Korean Drama and Actor Rankings in Its Final Week

JTBC’s Friday-Saturday drama Reborn Rich continues to top most buzzworthy Korean drama in its final week on air. Meanwhile, its lead actor Song Joong Ki also remains at the No. 1 most buzzworthy Korean drama actor list.

REBORN RICH Continues to Top Most Buzzworthy Korean Drama and Actor Rankings for 6 Consecutive Weeks

JTBC hit drama Reborn Rich has become the most talked about drama since airing for the first time on November 18 and topped Good Data Corporation’s weekly top 10 most buzzworthy Korean dramas for six consecutive weeks.

On December 25, JTBC hit drama Reborn Rich aired its finale and received mixed reviews from the audience since the ending is enormously different from the original web novel. However, despite various reviews, according to Nielsen Korea on December 26, the drama broke its record with the highest viewership rating of 26.94 percent nationwide. As a result, it became the highest viewership rating for drama series on the cable channel in 2022.

Last week, Reborn Rich cast members dominated 6 out of 10 spots on the most buzzworthy drama actor rankings. In its final week, its lead cast Song Joong Ki who successfully played two characters in the drama, held onto his position as the No. 1 most buzzworthy drama actor for six consecutive weeks, followed by Lee Sung Min at No. 4, Kim Nam Hee at No.8, and Shin Hyun Been at No.9 on the week.

Then, Alchemy of Souls Part 2 held onto No. 2 on the most buzzworthy drama rankings for the third consecutive week, with its lead cast members Lee Jae Wook rose to No. 2, Go Yoon Jung stayed at No. 3, and Hwang Minhyun entered the drama actor list at No. 5 on the week.

Meanwhile, on the drama actor list, there were two actors from JTBC’s The Interest of Love debuted on the list, they were Yoo Yeon Seok at No. 6 and Moon Ga Young at No. 7. In addition, Kim Hyun Joo of SBS’ Trolley debuted at No. 10 on the list.
