Reborn Rich and Its Stars Sweep the Top Spots of Most Buzzworthy Korean Drama and Actor Rankings for the 4th Week
Weekly Top 10 Most Buzzworthy Dramas and Actors in the 1st Week of December
In the first week of December 2022, JTBC’s drama Reborn Rich and Song Joong Ki stayed at the No.1 spot on the most buzzworthy Korean drama and actor rankings for the third consecutive week. Additionally, its cast members took 5 over 10 places on the most buzzworthy actor list.
The Korean drama Reborn Rich cast members who dominated the list were Song Joong Ki at No.1, followed by Lee Seung Min, Park Ji Hyun, Kim Nam Hee, and Kim Shin Rok at No. 2 to No.5, respectively.
Furthermore, according to Neilsen Korea, Song Joong Ki’s current drama has reached the highest rating of Kdrama this year on its eighth episode with an average nationwide rating of 19.499 percent. It surpassed the final episode of Extraordinary Attorney Woo, which reached 17.534 percent.
Meanwhile, the Korean drama Under the Queen’s Umbrella ended at No. 2, with three of its cast dominating the drama actor list. Kim Hye Soo remained ranked No. 2 on the list, followed by Oh Ye Ju at No. 4 and Kim Hae Sook at No. 6.
On the drama list, two Korean dramas on SBS, Cheer Up and The First Responders, remained at their positions, at No.3 and No.4, respectively. tvN’s new Korean drama Alchemy of Souls S2 entered the list before the broadcast and landed at No. 5.

On December 16, Good Data Corporation unveiled the weekly top 10 of the most buzzworthy drama and actor rankings for the second week in December 2023.
JTBC’s Reborn Rich has dominated the most buzzworthy dramas and drama actors list for the fourth week, with its stars taking 6 over 10 spots on the drama actor list. Song Joong Ki at No. 1, Lee Seung Min at No.2, Kim Shin Rok at No. 4, Shin Hyun Bin at No. 5, Park Ji Hyun at No. 7, and Kim Nam Hee at No. 8.
Aside from the cast’s excellent performances, many Korean drama fans are fascinated by the storylines and plot twists. Therefore, it has become a popular drama that Kdrama viewers most talk about in the second week of December.
Additionally, apart from leading the most buzzworthy Korean drama for four weeks, according to Nielsen Korea, the drama series has also increased the average nationwide viewership by 24.9 percent. It also places REBORN RICH at #2 on the top Korean drama rating of all time.
Furthermore, tvN’s Alchemy of Souls Part 2 landed in the second position, with its stars Go Yoon Jung and Lee Jae Wook ranked at No. 3 and No. 6 on the most popular Korean drama actors list, respectively.
Meanwhile, another new drama, Forbidden Marriage, entered the list at No. 4.
