On August 24, the K-Pop fandom data observer “K-Pop radar” has announced that the Kpop girl group Red Velvet tops the K-Pop Radar weekly top 10 music video YouTube view chart with their latest single, “Queendom” in week 34 (August 15 – August 21).

Since 2019, Space Audi’s “K-Pop Radar,” a start-up specializing in music, has identified and announced artists who have made significant growth. They combine the fandom data such as the rising in monthly music video views and the number of followers on official social media platforms.
Here are K-Pop Radar weekly top 10 music video on the YouTube view chart in week 34 (August 15 – 21).
1. Red Velvet – Queendom
During the 34th week of the K-Pop Radar tally, Red Velvet’s “Queendom” music video successfully hit the top with 37.98 million views in just 5 days.
Moreover, according to K-Pop Radar, the “Queendom” MV surpassed 10 million views in about 13 hours after its release and a total of 71 million views over the past seven days. It appears to be a record that reflects fans’ anticipation during the two-year absence.
2. BTS – Permission to Dance
BTS “Permission to Dance” gained 13,675,861 additional views.
3. TXT – LO$ER=LO♡ER
The new song by Tomorrow X Together (TXT), “LO$ER=LO♡ER” MV, hit the 3rd spot with gained 13,152,316 views.
4. CIX – WAVE
The new song by CIX “WAVE” MV took the 4th spot with 12,858,356 views.
5. BTS – Butter
BTS’s “BUTTER” rose to no.5 with additional views of 9,879,905 during the week.
6. Somi – DUMB DUMB
Meanwhile, Somi’s “DUMB DUMB” fell to no.6 with additional views of 9,833,590.
7. THE BOYZ – Thrill Ride
Unfortunately, THE BOYX’s “THRILL RIDE” also dropped from no.2 to no.7 on its second week, with additional views of 9,402,822.
8. PSY – Gangnam Style
PSY’s “Gangnam Style” remains on the 8th spot, with additional views of 7,898,019 during the week.
9. CRAVITY – Gas Pedal
On the 9th spot, CRAVITY entered with the new single “Gas Pedal” with views of 7,604,101 during the week.
10. BTS – DYNAMITE
BTS’s “DYNAMITE” fell from 9th place to 10th with additional views of 7,032,088 during the week.
