Rookie Girl Group XG Surpasses 10 Million Views on "Tippy Toes" Debut MV & Tops Charts

On April 8, international girl group XG gained more than 10 million views on their debut MV (music video), “Tippy Toes.” Not only that, but “Tippy Toes” also made the Top 10 on the iTunes chart in seven countries, including Japan and the U.S. XG also hit #4 on the Billboard Japan “Heatseekers” chart. XG appeared seemingly out of nowhere but entirely formed, releasing performance videos focusing on dance, rap, and vocals but revealing little of the members themselves.

However, their debut on March 18 made a blast in the music industry. On April 8, XG surpassed 10 million views on their debut music video, “Tippy Toes.”

The impressive number came less than a month after its release, evidencing that the formula to success lies in the artists’ creativity and abilities. “Tippy Toes” mixes popular rhythms like hip hop and R&B, while the visuals and choreography impress with an excellent and bold concept.

This put the group in evidence on the Japanese Billboard through the “Heatseekers” chart, reaching the #4 position and making them one of the fastest rising new artists.
