On Friday, the giant technology Samsung Electronics Co. unveiled its new flagship Galaxy S21 series phones. Mega Kpop star BTS and eccentric alternative group Leenalchi were featured to draw the attention of young smartphone users.

Samsung Electronics Co. introduced the Galaxy S21 series, which comes in three models:

2. BTS demonstrated the new phones and Samsung earbuds

In the online event that drew in a total of 57 million viewers globally, BTS demonstrated the new Samsung Galaxy S21 series phones, as well as Samsung’s new wireless earbuds.

3. Leenalchi and Samsung signature ringtone

An eccentric alternative group, Leenalchi, capped off the event with the new version of Samsung’s signature “Over the Horizon” ringtone. The group is famous for its ability to recreate traditional folk songs with modern and funky twists.

4. Samsung and the power of Korean Wave

Experts mentioned that Korean Wave created by Kpop dan Kdramas could turn fans worldwide into active consumers of South Korean products. Samsung sees the Korean Wave as soft power to get more attention from young smartphone users.

According to Samsung, the Galaxy S21 series phones support 5G and boasts 5-nanometer processors and AI-supported cameras.

6. Samsung Galaxy S21 is the cheapest 5G smartphone

It is revealed that Samsung standard Galaxy S21 will go on sale in South Korea as much as KR₩ 999,900 or US$910, which makes it the cheapest flagship 5G smartphone model from Samsung.
