The much-anticipated 2023 SBS Drama Awards ceremony is scheduled for December 29, 2023. The star-studded event will be hosted by none other than Kim Yoo Jung and Shin Dong Yup. Previously, they hosted the event in 2020 and 2021.
Performer Lineup
On December 19, the 2023 SBS Drama Awards announced the star-studded performer lineup. Fans can look forward to spectacular congratulatory performances by TXT, MAMAMOO’s Hwasa, Guckkasten, and Doldams—the cast of “Dr. Romantic 3.”
TXT will take the stage with their hit songs “Chasing That Feeling” and “Happily Ever After.” MAMAMOO’s Hwasa will dazzle the audience with her incredible talent, performing “Chili” and “I Love My Body.”
Additionally, rock band Guckkasten will astound viewers with their first performance on the broadcast after four years. They will showcase their song “Fighter” from the OST of the popular SBS drama, “Taxi Driver 2.”
And that’s not all! Along with other “Dr. Romantic 3” cast members, Lee Sung Kyung will create a memorable performance as they take the stage with the heartfelt song “Thank You for the Memories” from their drama’s OST.

Three couples from three Korean romantic dramas have mesmerized audiences with their incredible chemistry and compelling performances. Let’s meet the nominees for this year’s SBS Drama Awards Best Couple award:
1. Ryeoun and Shin Ye Eun in “The Secret Romantic Guesthouse”
“The Secret Romantic Guesthouse” is an adaptation of the novel “Flower Scholar’s Love Story” by Kim Jung Hwa. The story revolves around Yoon Dan Oh, who finds herself as the breadwinner of her family and the owner of the Ihwawon Inn. The narrative introduces the scholars staying at the inn, their secrets, and their collective mission to find a person named Lee Seol, who went missing 13 years ago.
Ryeoun (Kang San) and Shin Ye Eun (Yoon Dan Oh) have enchanted viewers with their heart-fluttering romance with their historical romance.
2. Ahn Hyo Seop and Lee Sung Kyung in “Dr. Romantic 3”
“Dr. Romantic 3” takes us back to Doldam Hospital, where Dr. Kim Sa Bu and his team are dedicated to saving lives. As they prepare to open a new trauma center with advanced medical technology, a crisis emerges when a North Korean ship drifts into South Korean waters, requiring the doctors from Doldam Hospital to aid critically injured patients onboard. The South Korean government’s desire to return the patients to North Korea for diplomatic reasons poses additional challenges. Things get more complicated as Cha Jin-Man, a person who had competed with Dr. Kim Sa Bu in the past and also happens to be the father of Cha Eun Jae, is appointed to lead the new trauma center.
Ahn Hyo Seop (Seo Woo Jin) and Lee Sung Kyung (Cha Eun Jae) continued to fascinate with their passionate love amidst medical challenges.
3. Song Kang and Kim Yoo Jung in “My Demon”
The ongoing romantic-comedy fantasy “My Demon” revolves around Do Do Hee, the successor of the Mirae Group, who finds herself in a contract marriage with a demon named Jung Gu Won. Jung Gu Won has the ability to live forever by making deals with desperate humans. However, he loses his power after getting involved with Do Do Hee. To prevent his own extinction, he must protect Do Do Hee, who has inadvertently taken all of his power.
The chemistry between Song Kang (Jung Gu Won) and Kim Yoo Jung (Do Do Hee) has completely enthralled viewers as they portray an intriguing contract marriage.
