Actress Shin Min Ah to Fake Her Marriage in New Drama
It has been over 2 decades since her debut, but actress Shin Min Ah shows an even more promising future!
After capturing audiences’ hearts with her role in Hometown Cha Cha Cha as the dimple couple with Kim Seon Ho, and dominating the Korean drama rankings during her performance in Our Blues, Shin Min Ah is now preparing for another significant return to the small screen.
On June 26, StarNews exclusive report revealed that actress Shin Min Ah had been cast for the female lead role in a new drama Because I Hate Loss. What’s interesting about this new project is that she would have to fake her marriage with a part-time convenience store worker.
So, what’s the story about, and what kind of a role will she play this time?
From the creative minds of writer Kim Hye Young (Her Private Life), Shin Min Ah’s new drama will tell the story of a fake marriage happening because of money.
Shin Min Ah will play the role of Son Hae Young, a female office worker suffering great loss all her life. During her younger days, she didn’t receive proper love and affection from her mother. As she grew up, she couldn’t enjoy her welfare benefits at work just because she wasn’t married yet. While her ex-boyfriend enjoyed marriage advantages, Son Hae Young has been missing out and suffering from different kinds of losses.
Therefore, she decided to end her misfortune by getting into a contract marriage with Kim Ji Wook, a part-time convenience store worker.
The Return of Kim Woo Bin Girlfriend and Her Iconic Dimple Smile
Following the great news of Kim Woo Bin’s girlfriend’s return, unfortunately, Shin Min Ah had yet to confirm her appearance in the new drama.
Her agency told Newsen on June 26 that dimple-smile actress had only received the offer, and is now reviewing the role positively.
“Shin Min Ah received an offer to appear in ‘Because I Hate Loss’, and she’s currently reviewing the offer positively.”

While this suggests that the brilliant actress is likely to appear in the project barring any unforeseen issues, we are still awaiting official confirmation from the production team.
Still, one thing is for sure: fans cannot wait to watch the return of Shin Min Ah’s iconic dimple smile and hilarious acting in the new rom-com. And that is especially after the heartbreaking performance in the recent healing drama, Our Blues.
