On October 26, famous singer and songwriter Sam Kim finally announced that he would release a dance music single in January 2022.

Though Sam Kim is known for his signature style of R&B and Kpop, he is now working on a dance music genre. When discussing the project, Kim noted that he ‘wanted to take on a new challenge writing the song. In addition, he hopes to put out something fresh for his fans. For his upcoming single music, Kim teamed up with DJ/Producer R3HAB.

Representatives for Kim note that he’s ‘excited and looking forward to’ working on the new single. Fans of the artist have already started buzzing about the soon-to-come new drop.

Sam Kim and Indonesian Singer Collaboration Single
While waiting for the dance music single from Sam Kim, he is also releasing a collaboration single with an Indonesian singer, Raisa. The single, ‘Someday’ is available on November 12. Make sure to stream!

Who is Sam Kim?
Kim Gunji (김건지), known with his stage name, Sam Kim, is a Korean-American singer, songwriter, and guitarist. He was the runner-up of Kpop Star season 3 aired in 2013. Sam Kim made his debut on April 10, 2016, with the EP ‘I Am Sam.’ Two years later (November 22, 2018), Sam Kim released the studio album, ‘Sun and Moon.’
Sam Kim is also known for his masterpiece for several Kdramas OST, such as ‘Who Are You’ (Goblin OST), ‘I Do’ (with Kwon Jin-ah), ‘Everyday’ (with Kwon Jin-ah), and ‘Cooking’ (The Lovebirds: Year 1 OST), ‘Scent (향기)’ (Search: WWW OST), ‘Breath (숨)’ (It’s Okay to Not be Okay OST), and ‘Love Me Like That’ (Nevertheless OST).
