According to an exclusive report from YTN on August 27, actor Son Seok Ku has been cast in a new film adaptation of the popular Naver webtoon “Moon You.”
In response to the report, a representative from Son Suk Ku’s agency, Stannum Co., Ltd., confirmed the news and stated,
“Son Suk Ku has received an offer to star in “Moon You” and is positively reviewing it.”

The Naver webtoon “Moon You” is one of Cho Seok’s works. He has gained immense popularity for his webtoon “The Sound of Your Heart,” which gained a drama series adaptation in 2016. The series starred Lee Kwang Soo, Kim Dae Myung, Jung So Min, Kim Byung Ok, and Kim Mi Kyung. Additionally, the show stole viewers’ hearts with its light narrative and entertaining style.
“Moon You” is a sci-fi comedy film that follows the struggles of an astronaut left alone on the moon after an asteroid crashes into Earth, destroying the human race.
In 2022, the webtoon series was transformed into a thrilling 4DX animation, offering fans a unique cinematic experience that brings the story to life in an exciting new way.
If the actor accepts the offer, he will showcase a different acting style. He will take on the role of the main character, who is searching for a way to return home from the isolated moon.
